The waiting. The prayers. The fervent cry’s of “why God?” The questioning. The constant mental battle of asking, when?
What happens when the answer is not yet? What happens then? It still hurts just as bad. The knowing it’s a not yet and wondering when.
This is what it means to trust God completely. That even in the not yet, you believe He knows best. That even in the not yet, you wait in peace.
“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.”
Psalms 62:5-6, 8
